We collect only what is needed to run the directory, never sell personal data, and give you full control to delete your account at any time.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect three kinds of data:

  • Account data — name, email, company, and password hash when you register
  • Inquiry data — details you submit when contacting a vendor
  • Usage data — pages visited, searches run, and referrer information (via cookies and server logs)

How Do We Use Your Data?

  • To run your account and show you your dashboard
  • To route buyer inquiries to the relevant vendor
  • To improve the site (aggregate analytics only)
  • To send transactional email (registration, inquiry confirmations, plan changes)

Do You Share Data With Third Parties?

Yes, in three limited cases:

  • Vendor inquiries — when you submit an inquiry, we share your name, email, company, and message with that vendor so they can reply
  • Service providers — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and hosting (limited technical access)
  • Legal compliance — if required by law or valid court order

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and Analytics

We protect your data with industry-standard controls: TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords (bcrypt), prepared SQL statements, and session hardening. No system is 100% secure — we promise reasonable care, not impossibility.

We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are announced on the homepage and notified to registered users by email.
